Optimal Bass is a specialized 44% Protein/8% Lipid diet formulated for adult bass. Just like people, bass requires less fatty diets in their later life stages. Most extruded feeds, especially those with elevated protein numbers, have difficulty keeping the lipid content down. This stems from the lipid content being brought in with many common protein sources. Optimal Fish Food has been working with specialized ingredient manufacturers to produce highly digestible protein sources that are also low in endogenous fats.

Our bass formulation comes in a large 9mm round floating pellet—designed to be the largest pellet most common automatic feeds can throw without clogging.
