Description
Looking for a natural way to keep your pond healthy and beautiful? Look no further than the Natural Pond Treatment Pack! This bundle of PondFit, MuckEater, and Ultra-Concentrated PondDye is safe for fish, plants, and the environment, and it’s effective at controlling algae, muck, and unwanted vegetation.
What’s in the pack?
- PondFit: A natural pond bacteria that breaks down and digests organic matter and improves water quality. PondFit also helps to reduce odors and promotes a healthy pond ecosystem.
- MuckEater: A natural enzyme that breaks down muck and sludge at the bottom of your pond. MuckEater can help to improve water clarity and reduce the muck layer that produces a dead zone in your pond—reducing the risk of fish kills.
- PondDye: Natural pond dye helps block sunlight penetration, slowing the growth of rooted vegetation. Dye can also enhance the color of your pond water and make it more visually appealing.
PondFit™ Beneficial Pond Bacteria
PondFit™ Beneficial Pond Bacteria—The most advanced, natural pond bacteria available!
PondFit Beneficial Pond Bacteria is the most important treatment for keeping pond water clear and controlling nuisance vegetation, which helps you grow large fish.
PondFit Beneficial Pond Bacteria reduces the excess nutrients that pond weeds like filamentous algae feed on. PondFit also eliminates smelly odors, and organic matter—also known as muck or sludge—that cause typical pond problems. You will see the results with this product!
Years of microbial product testing and research have gone into PondFit. Our bacteria blend works in all seasons—in water temps from 35 degrees up to 95 degrees!

It’s also a water conditioner using the perfect amount of essential pond vitamins, minerals, micronutrients, and barley straw to condition your water and help the living bacteria flourish! MuckEater™ Pelleted Pond Bacteria
MuckEater Pelleted Pond Bacteria removes muck (also called sludge) from your pond bottom.
MuckEater can be used around docks and beaches—or for treating large ponds. MuckEater can eliminate up to 2-inches of muck per month. MuckEater consumes bottom organic matter—the stuff that algae feeds on. Consistent use of MuckEater will decrease organic matter (sludge or muck) and will help keep your pond clean.
- MuckEater improves water quality
- MuckEater consumes muck (sludge) converting it to harmless gases that safely evaporate from your pond
- MuckEater pellets are heavy and sink directly down into muck where they work most efficiently
- MuckEater can be used in conjunction with Bjornsen Pond Management’s PondFit Beneficial Pond Bacteria in throwable packets for a complete water quality program
- Our research shows dramatically improved water quality and clarity, especially when used in conjunction with bottom-diffused aeration
- MuckEater has been formulated exclusively for, and is a registered trademark of, Bjornsen Pond Management
- Spot Treatment: Use one scoop every two weeks, per 1000-1500 square feet of beach, shoreline, or problem area
- Full Pond Treatment: Broadcast two scoops every two weeks, per 1/4 acre of pond surface area
