We tag fish to track growth and movement—and to learn how many times a fish has been caught. Catching tagged fish is not only great for research—it is also a lot of fun! Fish tagging adds yet another element to the enjoyment your pond or lake.
Pistol Grip Tagging Gun
Our easy to use tagging gun inserts a fish tag to 5/8” depth and comes with a .077 OD needle. Tags are inserted to the rear and just below the dorsal fin. The small tag does not hinder fish movement.
Numbered Fish Tags
Our Numbered Fish Tags – 25 Pack work well with medium and small fish. Tags come in units of 25 and are sequentially numbered from 001 through 025. Units of 50, 100, and 500 are available, as well as custom colors. Please call for availability.
Our tags feature printed, colored polyolefin tubing protected by a clear polyolefin shrink covering with a very small total diameter. These tags are designed for reliability with colorfast, fade resistant numbering and a sturdy t-bar for reliable staying power.

Kit includes an extra 4-pack of .077 OD needles.
