Sinking Turtle Trap

Bjornsen Pond Management’s sinking turtle traps use high grade 1-in. x 1-in. 14 gauge galvanized wire not found in other leading brands. Our traps will stand up to the harshest environmental conditions and are completely rust and maintenance free. This sinking turtle trap catches turtles by baiting them into a door system that prevents them from escaping. To bait, place soup bones or canned dog food (with holes punched in ends) within the trap then place in water that is two or more feet deep.
