Description
EasyPro Quick Sink Weighted Airline Tubing Sinks on Its Own
EasyPro Quick Sink is weighted airline tubing that carries air from your aerator to the bottom of your pond. Unlike standard tubing, it does not float. Instead, it sinks and stays securely in place on the pond floor, even in deeper water.
With regular tubing, you have to attach bricks or weights to keep it submerged. That process takes time, and the line can still shift, tangle, or float up. Quick Sink, however, removes that hassle. Simply position the tubing, connect the fittings, and allow it to settle. After that, it nearly disappears from view, keeping your pond clean and natural-looking.
Features and Benefits
- Sinks on its own: The built-in weight pulls the tubing to the bottom, so you need no bricks or ties.
- Nearly invisible: Once it settles, the tubing blends into the pond floor instead of floating on the surface.
- Kink resistant: The tough wall resists kinks, so air keeps flowing to your diffusers.
- Flexible in the cold: Quick Sink stays easy to handle, even when you install it in cold weather.
- Smooth inner wall: Air moves through with less resistance, which helps your aeration system run more efficiently.
- Built to last: This durable weighted airline tubing holds up season after season on the pond bottom.
- Easy maintenance: Because nothing is tied to the line, you can pull up a diffuser to clean it, then drop it back in place.
Choose Your Size
Quick Sink comes in two diameters and five lengths, so you can match the tubing to your aeration system and pond size.
- Diameters: 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch
- Lengths: 25, 50, 75, 100, or 500 feet
In general, match the diameter to the fittings on your aerator and diffusers. Larger tubing also delivers air with less pressure loss, especially over long distances between the compressor and the diffuser. If you are not sure, check your aerator manual or contact us before you order.
How to Install Weighted Airline Tubing
- Measure the run: First, measure from your compressor to each diffuser. Then add a few extra feet for slack.
- Connect the compressor: Next, attach one end of the tubing to the air outlet on your compressor or manifold.
- Connect the diffuser: After that, attach the other end to your diffuser.
- Lower it in: Finally, set the diffuser in place and let the tubing sink. Because it is weighted, it settles to the bottom on its own.
For a cleaner look on shore, you can also bury the tubing between the compressor and the water line.
Where to Use It
- Farm ponds, fishing ponds, and backyard ponds with bottom aeration
- Lakes and larger ponds, especially where diffusers are located far from shore
- New aeration systems, as well as replacement lines for older systems

Weighted Airline Tubing FAQs
Why use weighted airline tubing?
Standard tubing floats, so you have to weigh it down. Weighted tubing, on the other hand, sinks on its own. As a result, setup is faster, and the line stays put.
Will I need bricks or weights?
No. Quick Sink has built-in weight. Therefore, you can skip the bricks, ties, and anchors.
Can I install it in cold weather?
Yes. Quick Sink remains flexible in cold temperatures, so it is easy to install in early spring or late fall.
Should I choose 3/8″ or 1/2″ tubing?
First, match the size to the fittings on your system. In general, 1/2″ tubing is a good choice for long runs or larger systems. Still, check your aerator manual if you are not sure.
Will the tubing show in my pond?
Not much. Once it settles, it blends into the bottom sediment. In fact, it is nearly invisible from shore.
Can I use it with my current aerator?
Most likely, yes. Quick Sink weighted airline tubing is compatible with most bottom aeration systems, as long as the tubing diameter matches your fittings.
