Pistol-Grip Tagging Gun

First, the tagging gun included in this Gamefish Tagging Kit is easy to use. It comes fitted with a .077-inch O.D. needle, and it inserts a fish tag to a depth of 5/8 inch. Simply insert the tag just below the dorsal fin. Because the tag itself is so small, it won’t hinder the fish’s movement afterward.

Numbered Fish Tags

Meanwhile, the tags work well with both medium and small fish. Replacement tags are available in quantities of 25, 100, and 500. Each tag is printed on colored polyolefin tubing and protected by a clear polyolefin shrink covering. As a result, the overall diameter stays very small. What’s more, the colorfast, fade-resistant numbering and sturdy T-bar design help the tags stay legible and securely in place over time.
